The last weekend in Jan didn't fail to deliver!
Parkrun Saturday:
It was great to see Johnny heading in the right direction, recovery wise after a long term injury.
Craig, Johnny, Ian, Kev, Doug and Rob L represented at Cardiff with JC marshalling at the cross roads, whilst Hannah, Matt & Niall at Llanishen Park.
James S took on Tremorfa whilst Ceri was at the Forest of Dean parkrun - which is more maze than course.
Andrew and Joey went east to Newport whilst Lucy went west to Llyn Lleich Owain - both undoubtedly a bit boggy - whilst Lowri was at Porthcawl before going for a surf! 🏄♀️
Aislin & Jack were down south at Weymouth whilst Karen & Andy were in Barnstaple.
Dan went to Victoria Dock in London whilst Helen ran at Leazes in Newcastle.
Morwenna took on the alternative course at Kawana. We still need to know if that’s on par with the Pontcanna Fields version of Cardiff or better given it’s right on the sea still!
And...Chris was at it again!
Chris raced the Cwm Nant Y Groes hill race near Abertillery which he stated was the hardest of the series. With four climbs taking in roughly 550m of elevation over nearly 9km, you can see why it’s a tough one but a post race treat of chicken curry was welcomed by Chris.
Next weekend is the Hatterall Flow Test race, 8.7km and 475m elevation near Pandy. Series details are on:

Sunday Race & Long Runs!
No photos but on Sunday morning, Niall ran the CF64 winter race hosted by @pdrunners Taking in a few loops of Cosmeston Lakes Country Park over a variety of terrain types, it’s another popular race that sells out. A variety of ages and abilities turned up to take on approximately 6.4 miles (10.2 km).
Also a good turn out for our regular Sunday morning run at 9. Get those miles in guys!
