Home Nations 5k - end of August
The Home Nations 5k was a fast and furious paced set of races with some classic Cardiff weather during the evening.
In the three graded races, we had representation in each.
Race 1 saw Neil Williams, John Light, Simon Cartlidge, Meg Poulson, Sarah Woodley-Williams & Cat Whittle.
Race 2 had Huw Davies & Matt Turner whilst in Race 3 were James Hansell, Andy Gardiner & Chris Oxley.
Despite the puddles, there was great support all around! Big thanks to Ben, Em, Karen, Natalie, Neil R, Harry T, Paulina, JP & Johnny Lam
Ron & Eleanor were also helping out with the Welsh Athletics side of things!

Loved reading about the end of the summer series and the Home Nations 5k vibe, it really captures the season wrapping up nicely. Funny how Corteiz and even CRTZ XYZ pop into mind when thinking about strong community energy like this, whether you spell it Corteix or Corteiz it is all about identity and momentum.
