It was a 'typical' Parkrun saturday with an ironman thrown in for some San Dom members too!
Big congrats to Karen, Andy and Dan for completing their own parkrun alphabet (perhaps we can devote a parkrun alphabet page to just you guys?!) with 2 different Zuiderparks completing the epic challenge for them.
Matt T ventured out to Chipping Norton School and Sue secured a 2024 pb at Salisbury parkrun..well done Sue!
Cardiff parkrun was a busy affair with lots of our members running locally (see pics!).
On the opposite side of the world, Morwenna volunteered at her local parkrun, opting to race in the evening.
And what did Hannah do to avoid the early summer heat?...she went gin making! Not a bad idea!
Finally, we're in awe of both Rob B and Dave B who completed ironman Lanzarote in the times of 11.41.52 and 11.36.25 respectively. Epic!
2. Sunday Round Up
Well done everyone who ran (swam and cycled) today!
No group photo this morning at Cardiff Bay 10K but some PB's including one for the unstoppable Del!
Simon C didn't let the heat stop him as he delivered on a fantastic result at the Nottingham Outlaw Half (swim 1.2m, 56 mile bike, run 1/2 mara) clocking 5hrs 33 minutes and 25 seconds and Meg took to the trails which may have provided a bit more shade than the barrage.
Looking forward to club hills on Llanedeyrn Road this Tuesday and SSAFA 5k on Wednesday...see you there!
