This year saw the inaugural football game alongside the return of the Beer Mile Games
Footy, running and a whole lot of carbonation...what could go wrong? Absolutely nothing!
Forget block training, teamwork was the order of the day...a big thanks to Andy for organising a sunday session this August and all the support crew who came along!
The Race..
An electric start by Nathan which unfortunately was the best he did that day (spoiler alert, he ended in last place) and a big well done to Linda on taking the title of Ladies Beer Mile Champion. Harry pulled out all stops yet again and it was good to see the shark come alive on the grassy fields of the Heath.
Pizza 5k and Mince Pie 5k next!
